In this tutorial i will show you how to change default launcher or home launcher on android, note that the way you change default launcher can be different for each android version, but i'll try to cover all in this posts.
How to set default/home launcher on android 9 pie & android 8 oreo
- open Settings
- select Apps & notifications
- select Advanced
- select Default apps
- select Home app, if you have more than one launcher you should see it here, the default launcher for android 9 is called Quickstep.
How to set default/home launcher on android 7 nougat
- open Settings
- go to Apps
- press the settings gear in the top-right (not the triple-dot)
- scroll down and press Home app
How to set default/home launcher on android marshmallow, lollipop and kitkat
- open Settings
- scroll down, and under the Device header you'll see Home
- go into that and you'll be able to change your home launcher
